1031 Exchanges in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Well I just finished a two day 1031 exchange course which was great since I have done so many recently. What a wonderful way to defer capital gains tax and have a piece of income generating real estate. Santa Fe is fortunate that we have not felt the impact in the real estate market the way so many other markets are. As a resort area we have a year round tourist season and many people are coming in and purchasing single family homes, condos and townhouses to have as on the short term and long term rental market. As always it is a good time to buy in Santa Fe, New Mexico!

Daylight Savings and Fireplaces

How fun we get to turn our clocks back one hour at midnight on Saturday, November 1st, and wake up to bright sunshine and leave work in the dark. But here in Santa Fe that will also signal that it is time to start lighting the fires. How wonderful the smell of pinion and cedar wood burning is. It is a smell almost as wonderful as the roasting of green chile in August. The best time for me is coming home and my wonderful husband has a fire going. I don't even mind starting dinner then. So if your here in Santa Fe you know what I'm talking about and if not - come to my town and inhale the beauty.

Victoria's Santa Fe

Hello everyone,
This is my little site to tell you about my city, Santa Fe, New Mexico, and to hopefully answer all of the questions you may have about my Santa Fe.
So I can tell you we had some snow in the mountains about ten days ago and so the colorful aspens leaves have fallen. If you missed them this year not to worry they will be back next year.
